BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Pittsfield Ma. in 1944. I moved to Salem, NH in 1968,

then to Londonderry, NH In 1976.

My father’s parents immigrated from France in the early 1900 and worked in the mills. My father went to work at Rice’s Silk Mill at 14 years old.

My mother’s parents worked as sharecroppers on a farm near Springfield, Massachusetts When my mother’s father died of a stroke at age 25,

they had leave the farm and move to Springfield. My Grandmother got a job as a fur seamstress. My mother went to work at Rice’s Silk Mill.

My Parents met and got Married at age 17 and started our family.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

As you can see in the photos above, I have served in the military for over 35 years. Serving my country has always been an important part of my life. The Army paid for both my military education, and my civilian education.

All of the jobs that I held have been a hands on learning experience. I was a general clerk in an engineering company where I worked overtime in the blueprint copy department. I was a clerk in a large law firm where my overtime job was in the computer department. My next job was an accounting clerk in a lumber warehouse.

I next became a Store Manager for a startup, where I was promoted to a small district manager, and new store opening manager, and then to Construction Supervisor. At the time I attended Lowell Technical College (now University of Massachusetts Lowell) Civil Engineering. An education useful for both military and civilian jobs.

I retired as Sergeant First Class with 35 years of service.
